things I don't want to forget

~ The boys singing all kinds of made up medleys of Beatles songs - loudly. And a few other variations "HEY, Bulldog! If you're lonely you can talk to Spider Man!"

~ Dada and the boys turning the couch into a "Lello Submarine" while Dada sings and the boys play instruments.

~ Augie putting tiny little toy treasures in a special place before going night night. The special place usually being on the floor of the hallway.

~ A little middle of the night conversation in the bathroom with Liam:
"Mama, I heard a sound in my room when I was sleeping."
"Oh, was it scary?"
"No, it was the sound of bunny rabbits in the distance."

  1. Oh my goodness! Bunny rabbits in the distance?! Where do they come up with this stuff? The sweetness of it is too much.

I used to be so much better at writing down sweet/silly things my boys say, but lately I have been letting those things pass me by. Thank you for the inspiration. They are so little, so innocent.

Thank you also for your amazing kind words about my father. I know we've never met, but you are clearly awesome and a kindred spirit!

  2. I'm an insane Beatles fan so this makes me smile- I 'm excited for when Wyatt starts to really talk, he's trying so hard and I'm dying to understand what all those babbles mean.

Your pumpkins looks great on the stoop btw. A very tasteful take on Halloween :)

  3. Lauren, I know right? That bunny rabbit one is too much. I want to be more diligent about jotting these things down too. And I was reading your and Lilly's comment I told my husband, I love my blog friends! I really do.

  4. Excellent memories. Love the late night bunny conversation.

I would love to hear from you!
