baby #3...here we go!

These picture were taken several weeks ago after we told the boys that there was a little baby in Mama's tummy and that they would have a new little brother or sister! Don't you just love the look on Liam's face? I have to admit that there have been many times during these last 15 weeks of pregnancy when I've felt that same glassy eyed stupor. It has been such a different experience this second time around. My attitude is much more 'business as usual' completely unlike the floating all encompassing awe and trepidation of the first time. But it's good. The boys, all three of them, are excited and so am I - just so very tiiiiiired. Augie and Liam tell me all the time that they can't wait to play with the baby and that they want to help me feed and change diapers! I have no idea where they got that from but I think I'll take them up on it come April!

All my lovely friends out there, especially my veteran mom experts - your advice and insight are welcome!

  2. Wow! I just dropped by not expecting THIS kind of news! Congratulations! What wonderful news!

I don't have much advice to you that you probably don't already know... what with twin boys and all. But... I guess what goes with any pregnancy, find time for yourself, get enough rest, and try not to stress! You look great, by the way.

  3. Congratulations Cortnie!!!!! Rest and eat well is all I can say, and don't feel guilty if you don't feel like doing anything during this time--it's OK!! You and your body deserve all the breaks, pampering, and periods of nothingness that you can muster :).

Congratulations! I think you are the pro and should be offering advice given your two sweet boys. Excited to follow along as your family gets bigger :)
