Exploring

What to do on a hot Tuesday afternoon? Why set off for a field trip to the Asian Market, that's what! I could seriously go crazy in there buying noodles and spices, candles, incense, lucky cat figurines, dishes (some with bunnies on them), and of course all kinds of wonderful who-knows-what's-in-that candy that you devour in the car on the way home. Yay!

  1. Asian markets have cute packages but I'm always a little suspicious about the ingredients...I can't read Chinese...

  2. Fun! My mom used to have a shop that specialized in traditional Chinese medicine and we would always go to the Asian shops to stock up. I usually scored ginger candy and a trinket or two :)

  5. There is one in our old neighborhood that had the most wonderful bowl and teapot section, and also sold tons of rice noodles and beautiful quail eggs (which I always looked at but never bought.)
