I'm taking a break from boot camp to work on my running. (and by 'working on' I just mean getting up and running since my running was pretty much non-existent.) I have a goal to run a 10k at the end of September so that's my motivation. And since I'm running without music (broken ipod) a little perk I've noticed is that my mind is experiencing a certain freedom, an expansive breathing space. While running the other morning these words formed themselves in my mind and decided to stay with me like a mantra all the way home.
