embroidered delights

This sweet little handbag was a gift from my mom - she found it at a thrift store but decided it looked more like me than her. I love it although I don't get a chance to use it often due to the fact that my current life situation dictates that my bags have room for wallet, phone, change of big boy undies and pants (just in case), juice cups, snacks, hand wipes, etc. But it does make a great little decoration that usually hangs on the doorknob of our bedroom.

These vintage pillowcases are a little more suited for frequent use. They're so sweet, imperfections and all.

And one day while browsing the dusty floors of a huge thrift store downtown I spied these charming little birds hanging out on the ground semi-hidden amongst old kitchen appliances. I knew they had to come home with me.

happy thursday!
