little tree

Growing up, I never actually knew anyone with a flocked tree but I did know that anyone who had a flocked tree must be rich and fancy and have the most magical Christmases ever. To my eight year old self this made perfect sense. Even now I can't seem to help but be drawn to flocked trees every time we visit our corner lot right in the middle of town. Snow equals Christmas and a flocked tree is the closest we get living in the middle of the San Joaquin Valley of California where even rain is a rarity. But flocked or not I simply love the tiny little 'tabletop' trees. They're the runts of the tree lot. I only wish we could take them all home.

  2. I have never seen a flocked tree before!
Maybe it's a US invention. It does look beautiful and I love the way you have used natural and simple decorations.
Great to find your blog. I'm now following. ;-)

    Best Christmas wishes,
